MathToLearn is designed to minimize FERPA exposure by avoiding the collection and maintenance of student education records in the application.
No identity fields
The app does not collect names, email addresses, student IDs, class names, rosters, or uploaded work.
No saved learning records
Answers, scores, choices, and worksheet settings remain in temporary page memory and disappear when the page is refreshed or closed.
No advertising profiles
The app does not include advertising, behavioral analytics, social pixels, or cross-site tracking.
Temporary by default
Interactive answers and scores are calculated inside the open browser session so learners receive immediate feedback. They are not saved by MathToLearn. Refreshing or closing the page clears the session.
Identity stays offline
Printable worksheets contain blank Name, Date, and Score lines. Those blanks are completed after printing and are never entered into or transmitted through the app.

FERPA responsibilities depend on how a school or educational agency uses technology and manages records. MathToLearn’s design reduces application-level data collection, but each organization remains responsible for its own legal, policy, device, network, and record-management obligations.
Like any hosted website, infrastructure providers may process ordinary technical request information needed to deliver and secure the site. MathToLearn does not turn that information into learner profiles.
